How We Work

Planning a court is complicated, we take the guesswork out of it

Most people don’t know what their site needs until a builder shows up and the scope changes.

Palm Beach County Sports Courts is an enquiry service for sports court construction across Palm Beach County. We cover backyard courts, HOA and community facilities, school grounds, and commercial properties, as well as resurfacing and repair for courts that are worn or cracked. Tell us the site and the sport, and we arrange a local court builder to assess the ground and drainage in person before anything is scoped or booked.

Palm Beach County’s conditions make that on-site step essential. A high water table, heavy summer-storm drainage loads, intense UV, and salt air all affect how a base is prepared and how a surface holds up over time. A court built without adequate drainage provision will puddle and crack within a few seasons. Every scope we arrange accounts for those conditions from the start, surface slope, sub-base compaction depth, and drainage design are set before a single line item is priced.

We connect you with vetted independent local court builders who do the on-site work. Once the ground has been assessed, the estimate is issued as separate line items covering base prep, surfacing, acrylic color coating, fencing, lighting, and regulation line marking. Nothing is booked until you have that written scope in hand. A final walkthrough at the end of every project confirms the surface, slope, and line marking before sign-off is given.

Whether you are planning a new pickleball or tennis court, converting an existing tennis court to pickleball, or bringing a worn surface back to a playable spec, the process starts the same way: an on-site evaluation, a written estimate, and a clear scope before construction begins.

Our Mission

We exist to take the guesswork out of sports court construction for Palm Beach County homeowners, HOAs, and commercial properties by arranging on-site evaluations, itemised estimates, and vetted local builders.

  1. Transparency

Every cost is listed by phase in writing before any work is booked.

  2. Specificity

Scopes are written from an on-site assessment, not a phone description.

  3. Accountability

A final walkthrough closes every job before sign-off is given.

  4. Precision

Drainage, slope, and dimensions are set to regulation spec from the start.

The Process

From first enquiry to final walkthrough

Four steps, each with a clear output, no open-ended commitments along the way.

  1. 01

Tell Us Your Site & Sport

Share the location, the sport you want to play, and any site details you already know, size, existing surface, or drainage concerns.

  2. 02

    Arrange an On-Site Evaluation

We arrange a local court builder to visit the site, assess the ground, drainage, and slope, and identify any sub-base or grading work needed.

  3. 03

    Receive a Written Scope

You get an itemised estimate covering every phase: base prep, surfacing, acrylic color coat, fencing, lighting, and regulation line marking.

  4. 04

    Confirm at Final Walkthrough

Once construction is complete, a walkthrough confirms the surface slope, cure intervals, and line marking before the job is signed off.

Common Questions

What people ask before getting started

Do you build the court yourselves?

No. We are an enquiry service. We arrange vetted independent local court builders who carry out the on-site assessment and all construction work. Our role is to coordinate the evaluation, the written scope, and the final walkthrough so nothing falls through the gaps.

Why does every project start with an on-site visit?

Palm Beach County’s high water table and summer-storm drainage loads mean a phone description is never enough to scope a court accurately. Surface slope, sub-base compaction depth, and drainage design all depend on what the builder finds on the ground. A blind quote almost always changes once work starts.

What areas do you cover?

We cover all of Palm Beach County, including backyard courts, HOA and community facilities, school grounds, and commercial properties. Resurfacing and repair enquiries are also accepted for courts anywhere in the county.

What sports courts can you arrange?

We arrange construction for pickleball, tennis, basketball, and multi-sport courts. We also handle tennis-to-pickleball conversions, resurfacing of worn acrylic surfaces, fencing, and court lighting.

What happens if I delay resurfacing a cracked court?

Surface cracks allow water to reach the base layer. In Palm Beach County’s wet season, that water expands the crack and undermines sub-base compaction. What starts as a recoat job can become a full base replacement. Catching it early keeps the repair scope, and the cost, significantly smaller.

Is the written estimate binding before I commit?

The itemised estimate is issued after the on-site evaluation and covers every phase in writing. Nothing is booked or started until you have reviewed and agreed to that scope. There is no obligation at the evaluation stage.
